REGULATORY/AGENCY ISSUES
Cal Connected understands complex regulatory issues and can provide assistance within almost any California agency. Special expertise: Environmental, consumer and retail, food, agriculture, transportation, general and specialty manufacturing issues within the agencies and their departments. Agency experience includes Cal EPA, DTSC, CAL RECYCLE, DPR, Resources, CEC, State and regional water boards.
LEGISLATIVE
In addition to assisting clients with lobbying efforts, Cal Connected has years of experience drafting legislation and getting it enacted. Our extensive knowledge of the people and policies in Sacramento enables us to carefully craft laws in a way that can expect a successful outcome.
PROCUREMENT
Assisting with all aspects of procurement, including preliminary reconnaissance before RFI or RFP are issued, Cal Connected works with agencies and legislatures to create a demand for client products and services. We work with some of the largest companies in the world to create business opportunities in telecommunications, technology, construction and other procurement areas of state and local government.
Leadership
Stan Van Vleck is the founder of Cal Connected, LLC and a 30-year veteran of solving problems with government, especially those in the State of California. He has held important policy positions with the California Legislature, California Governor, and a U.S. Senator representing California. Van Vleck has been recognized by clients and business organizations for his tenacity and ability to solve complex problems and, most importantly, to deliver effective solutions.
